ARGUS local scan: pilots marked red, neutral and blue with a threat score from zKillboard

D-scan

Ships are folded by class, with warnings for BUBBLES (interdictors, heavy interdictors, mobile warp disruptors), CAPS, SUPERS and CYNO (force recons, black ops). ON GRID keeps what is within about 10,000 km.

Local

Every pilot is marked red, neutral, blue or own by your alliance’s standings and grouped by alliance. A threat score from 0 to 100 out of zKillboard weighs recent kills most and shows what the pilot likes to fly.

Share it, keep it on top

SHARE copies a link your fleet can open for 30 days. OVERLAY opens a small always-on-top window in Chrome or Edge that floats over EVE in windowed or borderless mode – paste scans straight into it.

Questions

Does ARGUS read my game client?

No. You copy the D-scan or local list yourself; ARGUS only reads what you paste.

Where does the threat score come from?

From zKillboard’s public statistics of each pilot: kills of the last three months, danger ratio, all-time kills and solo kills.

Is the overlay an in-game overlay?

It is a browser picture-in-picture window that stays on top of other windows – no add-on, nothing injected into the game.

Tools

  • EVE Online route planner that sees the danger – Shortest, safest or around trouble: ARGUS plans stargate routes on top of live kills, recognised gate camps and thirty days of hauler ganks – and sends the whole route to your game client.
  • Jump planner for capitals and jump freighters – Like Dotlan’s jump planner – fewest jumps, then the shortest distance – plus what is going on at every landing: live kills, camps, war targets and your alliance’s own and blue structures.
  • Gate camp check – live, on the map – Is the next gate camped? ARGUS watches every kill as it happens, recognises camps and fights by themselves and shows them on the map, in the route planner and as alerts.
  • EVE Online sov map, live – Every alliance’s space as a coloured nebula over the real star cluster – or flat from above like the in-game map. With sov hub timers, campaigns, kills and traffic live on top.
  • Ansiblex jump bridges on the map and in your routes – ARGUS finds every Ansiblex your character may use, shares the network with your alliance and routes through it – your own gates and those of your blues.
  • ARGUS compared with Dotlan, EVE-Eye and co. – New Eden has great third-party tools, and ARGUS does not replace all of them. Here is what each is best at – and what ARGUS adds.
