LIVE CAMPS

Gate camp check – live, on the map

Is the next gate camped? ARGUS watches every kill as it happens, recognises camps and fights by themselves and shows them on the map, in the route planner and as alerts.

ARGUS gate camp detection: a camped gate in Floseswin with the ships involved and the kills of the last 30 minutes

How camps are recognised

Repeated kills on the same stargate within a short time mark a gate camp; eight or more kills in ten minutes mark a fight. The EVENTS list names the gate, the ships seen and the ISK lost, and the map pulses where it happens.

On your route

Every system of a planned route shows CAMP? and its kills of the last 30 minutes. AVOID DANGER routes around camps; for haulers, the gank risk adds thirty days of high-sec ganks.

Before it hits you

ALERTS raises a toast when kills happen around your ship, on your route or in watched space – also as push notification on your phone and in your Discord channel. WHEN IS IT SAFE? in every system shows the kills by weekday and EVE hour, so you can pick the quiet window.

Questions

How fast does a camp show up?

Kills arrive from zKillboard’s live feed within seconds; a camp is marked as soon as the kills on that gate repeat.

Does ARGUS see camps without kills?

No tool can see a camp nobody died at. Your alliance’s intel reports and an intel channel read by ARGUS fill that gap.

Is it free?

Yes. Sign in with your EVE character; ARGUS is free and non-commercial.

Tools

  • EVE Online route planner that sees the danger – Shortest, safest or around trouble: ARGUS plans stargate routes on top of live kills, recognised gate camps and thirty days of hauler ganks – and sends the whole route to your game client.
  • Jump planner for capitals and jump freighters – Like Dotlan’s jump planner – fewest jumps, then the shortest distance – plus what is going on at every landing: live kills, camps, war targets and your alliance’s own and blue structures.
  • EVE Online sov map, live – Every alliance’s space as a coloured nebula over the real star cluster – or flat from above like the in-game map. With sov hub timers, campaigns, kills and traffic live on top.
  • Ansiblex jump bridges on the map and in your routes – ARGUS finds every Ansiblex your character may use, shares the network with your alliance and routes through it – your own gates and those of your blues.
  • D-scan and local scanner with threat rating – Copy the D-scan or the local member list in game and press Ctrl+V on the map. ARGUS tells you what is out there – and who is dangerous.
  • ARGUS compared with Dotlan, EVE-Eye and co. – New Eden has great third-party tools, and ARGUS does not replace all of them. Here is what each is best at – and what ARGUS adds.
