STARGATE ROUTES
EVE Online route planner that sees the danger
Shortest, safest or around trouble: ARGUS plans stargate routes on top of live kills, recognised gate camps and thirty days of hauler ganks – and sends the whole route to your game client.
Three ways to fly
SHORTEST takes the fewest jumps. PREFER HIGHSEC stays in high-sec as long as there is a way. AVOID DANGER prices every system by its live kills, kills per hour, suspected camps and security, and routes around trouble – often only one or two jumps longer.
Gank risk for haulers
Type your cargo value (2.5b, 800m) and every high-sec system on the route shows its hauler ganks of the last 30 days. A verdict names the worst spots, for example “Uedama: 14 ganks/30 d, targets from ~1.5B”.
Cargo worth at least what gankers hit there raises the risk; with a cargo value, the safer modes also step around gank hotspots. It is an estimate from killmails, not a guarantee.
Every jump at a glance
Each row shows security, kills of the last 30 minutes and badges such as CAMP?, busy or hot. Region changes are marked, a click flies the camera there. Waypoints, Pochven’s internal gates and your alliance’s Ansiblex gates are part of the graph.
Straight into the game
SET DESTINATION IN GAME sets the destination in your client. WHOLE ROUTE TO AUTOPILOT writes every system as a waypoint, so the autopilot flies exactly the route you see.
Questions
Is the danger data live?
Yes. Kills arrive from zKillboard within seconds; jumps and kills per hour come from CCP’s ESI and update hourly. Camps are recognised from repeated kills on the same gate.
Can I paste a Dotlan route?
Yes. Paste a Dotlan route link into the search box and the route opens in the planner.
Does the route planner cost anything?
No. ARGUS is free and non-commercial; you sign in with your EVE Online character.
Tools
- Jump planner for capitals and jump freighters – Like Dotlan’s jump planner – fewest jumps, then the shortest distance – plus what is going on at every landing: live kills, camps, war targets and your alliance’s own and blue structures.
- Gate camp check – live, on the map – Is the next gate camped? ARGUS watches every kill as it happens, recognises camps and fights by themselves and shows them on the map, in the route planner and as alerts.
- EVE Online sov map, live – Every alliance’s space as a coloured nebula over the real star cluster – or flat from above like the in-game map. With sov hub timers, campaigns, kills and traffic live on top.
- Ansiblex jump bridges on the map and in your routes – ARGUS finds every Ansiblex your character may use, shares the network with your alliance and routes through it – your own gates and those of your blues.
- D-scan and local scanner with threat rating – Copy the D-scan or the local member list in game and press Ctrl+V on the map. ARGUS tells you what is out there – and who is dangerous.
- ARGUS compared with Dotlan, EVE-Eye and co. – New Eden has great third-party tools, and ARGUS does not replace all of them. Here is what each is best at – and what ARGUS adds.
